Tasty Coleslaw with Apples (No Mayo!)

Filled with sweet and crunchy bits of goodness, this Coleslaw with Apples dresses up coleslaw mix with a tangy and sweet apple cider vinegar dressing (no mayo). It’s an easy homemade salad that’s perfect for your next picnic, BBQ, or potluck!

Ingredients

  • cup sliced almonds
  • 1 14 ounce slaw mix with green cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced
  • cup dried cranberries
  • cup apple cider vinaigrette like Ken's

Instructions

  • Toast the almonds by heating a skillet to medium heat. Add the sliced almonds and toast until golden brown. Stir often to prevent burning. Allow to cool before adding to the slaw.

  • Combine cabbage, apples, green onions, cranberries, and almonds together in a large mixing bowl. Then add dressing to taste. Transfer to a salad bowl or platter for serving if desired.
