- 12 cups popcorn popped (½ cup kernels)
- 6 oz white chocolate chips
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1½ tablespoon sugar
Prep two cookie sheets with a layer of wax or parchment paper. Place popped popcorn in a very large bowl. Mix together the cinnamon sugar until well combined. Set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate chips in 30 second increments until smooth.
Pour melted white chocolate chips over popcorn. Stir well to coat popcorn in chocolate. Toss cinnamon sugar mixture into the popcorn and continue stirring to evenly combine.
Spread popcorn into prepared cookie sheets and allow to set for 1-2 hours.
Tips & Tricks
- Place spoonfuls of white chocolate across the top of the popcorn instead of pouring it all in one spot. This will help it distribute more evenly while mixing.
- White chocolate cools quickly and loses its stickiness fast. Add the cinnamon sugar mixture while the chocolate is still warm to help it stick well.
