Honey Butter Syrup

This 2-ingredient honey butter syrup is amazing on pancakes, waffles, and french toast. It’s an all-natural alternative to pancake syrup ready in under two minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  • Place ingredients in glass measuring cup for the microwave.
  • Microwave for 30 seconds at a time until melted. Watch carefully after the first 30 seconds to keep it from boiling over.
  • Stir together. Enjoy!

Notes

Tips & Tricks
  • Use salted butter or add a pinch of salt to the mix. 
  • Warm it gently so that it doesn’t boil over.
 
Alternative cooking
Feel free to warm this over medium heat on the stove if desired. 
If you want to keep this syrup warm for a crowd put it in a slow cooker or an insulated carafe.
