- 1 ½ cups ketchup
- ⅔ cup honey
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- 2 T molasses
- 2 T smoked paprika
- 1 T black pepper
- 1 T garlic powder
- 1 T onion powder
- 1 t celery salt
- 1 t coriander
- 1 t cayenne
- 1 t red chili flakes
Mix all ingredients together in small saucepan.
1 ½ cups ketchup, ⅔ cup honey, ½ cup apple cider vinegar, ¼ cup light brown sugar, 2 T molasses, 2 T smoked paprika, 1 T black pepper, 1 T garlic powder, 1 T onion powder, 1 t celery salt, 1 t coriander, 1 t cayenne, 1 t red chili flakes
Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes stirring occasionally. Cool to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
Tips & Tricks
- Do not use apple cider vinegar with the mother. It will overpower the sauce.
- Use a deeper sauce pot for less mess during the simmering process.
- Make ahead so the flavors can meld. Plus serving day is easier.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For a longer storage time, freeze for up to 6 months.
