  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼-½ teaspoon red pepper flakes or more to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a jar or medium bowl. Whisk vigorously to combine.
¼ cup lemon juice, 3 tablespoon honey, 2 teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon ground mustard, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, ¼-½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, ¾ cup light olive oil

Notes

Tips & Tricks
  • Use light olive oil instead of regular olive oil so that the honey and herb flavors really shine!
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice - it makes all the difference in flavor.
  • Adjust the spice to your taste by increasing or decreasing the red pepper flakes.
  • Make sure to use a whisk (not a spoon or spatula) and mix vigorously. This helps the oil and other ingredients to emulsify, or combine together with less separation.
Storage
Store in a sealed container in the fridge for 1-2 weeks. The olive oil may solidify; to use, allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes or pop in the microwave on half power for 10-20 seconds before serving, then shake or stir to recombine.
