This homemade honey condiment is made with both dijon mustard and yellow mustard to replicate the depth of flavor you find at a restaurant for a fraction of the price. Ingredients

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon honey or hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ⅛-¼ teaspoon cayenne or more

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl with a whisk until well combined. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

Tips and Tricks
  • Adjust the spice by adding more or less cayenne pepper. 
  • Adjust the tang by changing the ratio of yellow mustard and dijon mustard. Use more yellow for more tang, or more dijon for less. Use a total of 2 tbsp.
  • If you like a lighter mustard flavor or slightly thicker sauce, add a little more mayo.
  •  Use a whisk to stir it to help the honey incorporate. 
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 10-12 days.
