Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 lb frozen corn kernels I prefer sweet white corn about 4 cups
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ cup hot honey homemade or store bought or see below

Instructions

  • Melt butter over medium high to high heat. You want it to melt but not burn. Once melted add in the corn and salt.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes and then add in the honey and cook 2 minutes longer.

Notes

Tips & Tricks
  • Don't let the butter brown in step one. As soon as the butter is melted, stir in the corn and salt.
  • Use your favorite hot honey for the best flavor.
  • Use a heavy bottomed skillet to help keep the corn from burning
Substitution:
If you don't have hot honey on hand use 2 tablespoon honey ¼ teaspoon cayenne or red chili flakes
