Equipment

Ingredients

  • potato soup

Instructions

  • Make soup according to the recipe. Allow it to cool completely. Be sure to leave off any toppings.
  • Pour soup into desired container (see post for several ideas), leaving enough space for the soup to expand once frozen.
  • Place in freezer for at least 4 hours or until frozen solid.

Notes

Tips & Trick
    • Avoid adding toppings before freezing. Add fresh toppings after it is reheated.
    • Leave room for it to expand.
    • This really only works well with potato soup that is pureed smooth. Chunky soup does not freeze as well.
