Pro tips for an easy (er) Easter meal
Whenever cooking a large celebration meal, it is rarely easy. However these tips can help take some of the stress off and help so that it is more enjoyable and less chaotic or hectic.
- When planning your menu, pick a few dishes that can be prepped ahead of time. It’ll make the day-of cooking way less stressful and help you get everything on the table without the chaos.
- Mix up your cooking methods so your oven doesn’t get overloaded. A roaster oven, slow cooker, electric skillet, or even a stovetop pot can be lifesavers when you’ve got a full menu to juggle.
- Go all out on a showstopper recipe or two—holidays are the perfect excuse! But balance it out with some easy wins. For example, I’ll happily spend time making a from-scratch cheesecake, but you better believe I’m also popping some frozen Rhodes dinner rolls in the oven.
